Analog Science Fiction and Fact has been published since 1930 but has only carried its current name since 1992. It is published by Dell Magazines and available in electronic formats through Fictionwise.

Originally Analog was the pulp magazine Astounding Stories of Super-Science, its title shortened to Astounding Stories in 1931. Editor John W. Campbell changed it to Astounding Science-Fiction in 1938 to distinguish it from fantasy magazines, then again to Analog Science Fact & Fiction in 1960. Fiction and Fact finally traded places in the title in 1992.
