Ellen Asher

Ellen Asher was the editor of the Science Fiction Book Club for over 34 years (beating John W. Campbell's record to become the longest-running editor in the same position in science fiction), retiring in the midst of corporate reorganization in 2007. Prior to joining SFBC, she was the science fiction editor for NAL, when it was a subsidiary of Times Mirror.
Ellen received the Skylark Award in 2001.
