Wildside Press was founded in 1989 by by John and Kim Betancourt and is located in Rockville, MD. Imprints include Cosmos Books, Juno Books, Point Blank, and Prime Books. Wildside also publishes the magazines Weird Tales, H.P. Lovecraft's Magazine of Horror, Fantasy Magazine, and Adventure Tales.

Wildside Press has been nominated six times for the World Fantasy Award for publishing excellence.
